Vista has a built in command line utility called DiskPart. It allows you to expand or shrink partitions.

Using diskpart is a bit like using FDISK you need to enter several commands to resize a partition.

  • list disk
  • select disk <disk number>
  • list partition
  • select partition <partition number>

Now you can use commands like

  • extend
  • shrink

or

  • delete
