====Fremgangsmåde====&lt;br /&gt;
Rids sværen i tern med en skarp kniv.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Stil kødet i et stort ovnfast fad.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Drys med salt og peber.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Sæt fadet på nederste ovnrille i en kold ovn. Tænd ovnen på 180 grader og lad skankene stege ½-1 time. Kom så urterne i.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Skær grøntsager og kartofler i store både eller læg nogle af grøntsagerne ved hele.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Læg grøntsagerne omkring kødet sammen med krydderierne (laurbærblad og timian kan bindes sammen, så er de lettere at fjerne igen).&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Hæld øllet ved. Kan skankene ikke stå op, vendes de efter den halve stegetid.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Steg skankene videre, til kødet let slipper benet - i alt skal de stege 2¾-3 timer.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
