If you get the following error during installation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 CSIDE client:
Error 2908. Could not register component {44ED4E3D-B0AF-400D-9BD1-C30BD7606D96}.
It is caused by missing .NET runtime versions (2.0) and perhaps other missing components.
FIX: Run Windows Update (Custom) and install everything possible.
Now you can install Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 CSIDE client without errors.
