RSS feeds are updated by a hidden task called User_Feed_Synchronization-{xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx }.
This task might get corrupt.
If that happend your feeds won't update, and you will get the following message trying to open the Task Scheduler: The task is corrupt or has been tampered with.User_Feed_Synchronization {xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx }
To fix the problem:
- Open Internet Explorer
- Go to: Tools - Internet Options - Content - Feeds (Settings)
- Untick all
- Close Internet Explorer
- Start Internet Explorer
- Go to: Tools - Internet Options - Content - Feeds (Settings)
- Retick all previus unticked
